It is becoming a fashion to set ablaze trains on every violent occassion. The mob find it easy to attract the attention of the state by resorting to destroying the public property. In fact a close look at the events makes it clear that, its the state which is encouraging these kind of activities. The state's inaction at the earlier stage is one of the reasons and recongnizing the mob's demands after the violent protests is a kind of positive reinforcement. This makes the behavior of the mob getting repeated all over the country.
The chances of riots or violent activities are greater in our country because of our composite culture, but the people should not be allowed to destroy the public property. The trend should be stopped by enacting a stringent law.
A broader look at all the events gives an impression that we are becoming highly intolerent and seeking a quick solution to most of our problems. This attitude should change for a better tomorrow.
